Brittany Scribner, Nurse Family Practitioner, RN, BSN, specializes in Pulmonology and Sleep Disorders.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015 and Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner in 2021 from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX. Scribner worked as Medical Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse at United Regional Healthcare System in Wichita Falls prior to joining Hill Country Memorial.
As a Nurse Practitioner, Scribner is trained to order diagnostics, manage plans of care, prescribe medications, and manage chronic disease processes. She works with a designated physician, Dure Fernandez, MD, and sees practice at HCM Medical Clinics in Fredericksburg, Kerrville, and Boerne.
Scribner cites her experience as an ICU nurse for her interest and ability in respiratory conditions. Scribner believes in treating each patient as a whole person, not solely based off of a symptom. She is an advocate of promoting disease prevention through education and providing compassionate care to help patients feel in control of their health care.
The Wichita Falls native is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
