David Lindzey, MD, Internal Medicine, offers medical care that focuses on helping his patients maintain good health, address troubling symptoms, and remain current on all preventive recommendations

The Austin native earned a BA in Biology and BS in Medical Technology from the University of Texas. He received his Medical Degree from Texas Tech University, serving a residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He is Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has served as Medical Director for several departments at Scott and White Healthcare.  He has been in practice for 38 years most of which have involved medical education with inpatient and outpatient practice components.

During his career, Lindzey has been involved in all aspects of Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, and Palliative and Hospice Care. His IM practice, like most, is slanted towards the Medicare population and he has appreciated over time the need for practical management of the many chronic disease management issues that add up over time in the aging process.  His approach is to simplify and explain the issues so that informed decisions can be made to optimize outcomes for a patient’s personal circumstances.

Lindzey and his wife, Kathy, enjoy outdoor activities, including tennis, swimming, gardening, and travel.
