Jovawna Hubbard, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, provides primary care for patients of all ages including acute care for illnesses, infections and injuries and long-term care of chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure. She also prescribes medications and order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests including lab work and x-rays.

In addition to these clinical services, Hubbard focuses on preventing illness through education, counseling, and working with patients to make informed health and lifestyle choices.

Hubbard earned a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2002 and a master’s of science degree in nursing from the Texas Tech University Health Science Center Family Nurse Practitioner Program in 2007.

A longtime resident of Blanco County, she enjoys spending time with her children, traveling, photography and reading.
