Kellie Flood-Shaffer, MD

Kellie Flood-Shaffer, MD, FACOG, practices with the Hill Country Memorial Medical Group in Fredericksburg at 506 Windcrest.

Dr. Flood-Shaffer is a native of El Paso, Texas and is fluent in Spanish. Her undergraduate degree in Anthropology was awarded by the University of Notre Dame. She then earned her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Medical Branch–Galveston.

Prior to arriving in the Hill Country, Flood-Shaffer served as Staff Physician at the Wise Health System Hospital, Decatur, Texas. Most of her career, however, has been in Academic Medicine. She has held the position of Chairman of the Department of Ob/Gyn both at JPS in Ft. Worth and Tx Tech HSC in Lubbock. She has served on the faculty at the University of North Texas HSC, University of Cincinnati, University of Chicago, and Tx Tech in El Paso.

Flood-Shaffer is a member of the Association of Professors of Gynecology & Obstetrics, the Texas Medical Association, the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, and is a Fellow of the Texas Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is also a Fellow and Diplomat of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Flood-Shaffer will offer over 30 years of experience to her patients in Obstetrics & Gynecology with services that include but are not limited to the treatment of Breast Disorders, Complicated Pregnancy and Childbirth, Sexually transmitted Disease, Menopausal therapy, Contraceptive management, Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS), Well-woman care and Ovarian Dysfunction. She sees female patients from puberty to post-menopause.
