Get to know your doctor
Dr. Gainer grew up in Boerne, Texas where she attended Boerne High School. She went on to graduate from the University of Texas at Austin before attending medical school at UT Health San Antonio. She continued her training at Christus Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency Program in San Antonio.
During college, she worked at Pine Cove Christian Camps every summer, where she developed a passion to serve families and their well-being, As a family medicine physician, she looks forward to caring for the whole family (especially children), treating both acute and chronic issues.
She is currently living in the Texas Hill country with her husband Alec and son, Jonathan. As a family, they love the outdoors (including hiking and lake activities) as well as all kinds of sports, especially college football.
