Magdalena “Maggie” Klein, PA-C, joined the HCM Medical Group team in 2016.
Klein, a graduate of Fredericksburg High School, currently sees patients at HCM medical clinics in Fredericksburg and Kerrville.
She works with with vascular surgeon Dr. Andrew Bowser in Fredericksburg and Kerrville.
As a physician assistant Klein can perform physical examinations, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret lab tests, prescribe medications, perform injections and procedures and assist in surgery. She is also specially certified in orthopedic surgery.
After earning a bachelor of science degree in nutrition from Texas A&M University in 2007, Klein attended the University of Texas Medical Branch, earning a master’s degree in physician assistant studies in 2010. There she received specialty training in asthma and allergy treatment, general surgery, and vascular surgery.
She then worked in Houston at the University of Texas Health Science Center and Baylor College of Medicine emergency departments as an instructor, and she obtained a certificate of added qualifications in orthopedic surgery.
