This is the 2nd seminar in our Be Well with Diabetes Program. This seminar is designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to keep blood glucose levels near goal and therefore prevent the complications of Diabetes. Individual self-care behaviors such as regular exercise and activity, daily glucose monitoring, foot care, dental care, eye care and sick day care will be discussed. Attendees will have the opportunity to develop an individualized self-care behavior plan. Strategies for the prevention and management of the diabetes, eye disease, and kidney disease will also be taught.

The cost of this 3-hour seminar is $360. This cost can be covered by Medicare and most commercial insurance with a physician referral.
